Sunday #9 – It’s new and we want to try it…

Hello beauties,

If you are a Beautyworker’s follower, you know that every Sunday we post this segment. We do this for us and for you, because my beautiful beauties, we like you well informed about new products. On Sundays, we all need rainbows and unicorns to help us for another week of work/school but unfortunately, we don’t have rainbows and unicorns to give you, Sorry beauties, but if you are like us -Crazy beauty addicted – you will probably relax seeing (and imagining having) all these beautiful products. Don’t you?

You also know that I am a rambling person, sorry, I’m always talking about books, Yoga adventures and my Christmas craziness (if you are like me, stay calm, this week we already can see some Christmas products. Even I think it’s a little early, but yeah, I will not complain).

So, bear with me.

This week, I will not talk about none of that topics, because 1) my trilogy books are over; 2) I didn’t go to my Yoga class (shame on me) and 3) I didn’t have time to think about Christmas.

I spend last weekend scanning my favorite websites (I do this a lot, I know, sue me) and I spotted an incredible leather jacket (That moment I thought that I cannot live without it, because it’s cold, I have a body and I need a jacket. Who cares if I already have twenty in my closet?). But my inner voice said, ‘Don’t get that- it’ll be on sale’. Guess what? I didn’t buy it. And yesterday, after checking the progress of said jacket, I found out that it’s all sold out. Am I the only one that this happens?

On the other hand, In the cold light of the day, I realized that the red leather jacket was unlikely to leave the back of my wardrobe. So maybe it was for the best (I forgot to say that it was expensive) and now probably half of my city has the same leather jacket.

This seems like an outburst of my week. Sorry!

With no more delay, here are our picks for this week…

# Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel 5 oz. – $38.15 (35.10€)

A few weeks ago, I saw this brand on Instagram and it immediately called my attention. Today I found this product for sale on Nordstrom and I’m so happy because this looks perfect for my muscle aches.

This is a body gel that treats aching muscles by using the power of rosemary, black pepper, lavender, and ginger essential oils. Lavender is antiseptic and an anti-inflammatory, and then the Rosemary and Ginger are warming. The gel formulation gives it that cooling feeling, and for what was said to me, it’s great if kept in the fridge! Interesting, right?

According to the information’s on the Nordstrom website, it instantly cools aches and pains, then warms muscles over time to leave them feeling soothed. I’m very sensitive and I have muscle pains very often, so this looks promising.

# Peter Thomas Roth Skin to die for primer & Complexion corrector 1oz. – $27,30 (25.20€)

This primer instantly blurs, fills and helps reduce the look of pores, fine lines and imperfections with a natural-looking matte finish.

Indicated for all skin types. According to the information on the website, a powerful mattifying complex absorbs excess oil while powerful Disa-Pore 20 and Evermat™ help reduce the appearance of pore size and shape over time.

I chose to talk about this product because I’m needing a new primer, my hangover is almost over and I wanted to try a new one.

# Byredo Blanche hair perfume – $60.65 (55.80€)

I never used a hair perfume. So, when I saw this, I was immediately interested on trying it. (It’s a little expensive, I know. When I say that I wanted to try it doesn’t mean that I will go buy it. But if you have the money, try and then tell me if it’s worth).

Basically, this is a hair perfume featuring a fragrance built around perfumer Ben Gorham’s perception of the color white. (I’m curious to see what this smells). According to the website, with this fragrance, Gorham wanted to capture the innocence and untainted side of a specific person he had in mind with a scent that is almost transparent.

– Top: white rose, pink pepper, aldehyde.

– Middle: violet, neroli, peony.

– Base: blonde woods, sandalwood, musk.

# This Works Sleep Together kit – $32 (30€)

It’s the second time that I have this kit in my hand on Sephora. I don’t have sleeping problems but when I see lavender scent on a product I’m always attracted.

Allegedly, this kit will help provide a good night’s rest so you wake up feeling refreshed. The Lavender-infused spray is mixed with sweet notes of Vetivert and Wild Chamomile for a tension-free mind, while the ‘Breathe In’ oil can be rolled onto pulse points to calm the senses. – Spray Deep Sleep onto your pillow before bedtime. It’s made with an aroma therapeutic blend of Lavender to help calm the mind – Keep ‘Deep Sleep Breathe In in your tote to relieve tension at work, or use it at night to improve sleep quality.

Maybe one day, I gain courage and buy it. But if you have problems to sleep or accumulated stress, maybe this is perfect for you.

What I like about this brand is the fact that their products contain 98% natural ingredients. I need to be honest, I still didn’t try anything from them, but this set seems a good way to start.

The products from this brand are rich in growth factors extracted from milk products and which stimulates the collagen production, japonica camellia oil and thermal water rich in minerals and trace elements from the valley of Furnas (where one of the largest concentrations of hydrothermal springs in the word is found), in the Azores.

All products in the range have four common ingredients: Bovine Colostrum, Japonic Camelia Oil, Honey and Thermal water.
