Sunday #12- It’s new and we want to try it…

Hello beauties,

How as your week? Mine was good. Here in Portugal we already can feel the weather a little bit colder – the winter is coming… 🙂 It’s that time of the year when I have to gain courage and clean my wardrobe. I’m ashamed of the number of clothes that I have and don’t use anymore. Knowing that there’re so many people that have nothing makes me even sadder. But I’m always thinking ‘Next year, I will use it’ (it’s my accumulating side). This year, I promised myself that I would give some clothes that I don’t use anymore to a person that I know that needs them.

Did you saw last week ‘It’s new and we want to try it’? (here). It was all glitter and sugar (Sorry, if you were on a diet)! This week I tried to cut a little bit on the sugar but I cannot cut in the glitter: I’m like a crow, always drawn to the sparkly things!

As a beauty blogger (I mean, semi-beauty blogger) I’m often searching for cool products for our blog. And I didn’t realize how much coconut is used in products, even in nail polish! Well, turns out the fatty acids in coconut penetrate the nail fast, giving strength and nourishment. Even the juice is antibacterial, too- perfect for preventing fungal infections (who wants that?). Interesting fact, don’t you think?

This week I saw so may products with special packagings and we need to thank that to the Christmas collections, they are so appealing! – We are already in November, beauties, how are your Christmas spirit?

I can not get enough of searching for new products, it helps calm me down after a day full of work (Am I crazy?). That it’s why I love to do this segment – it’s my baby! Normally I go back to my laptop bursting with new ideas on how to make our posts more creative and engaging.

No more rambling. Here are our chooises for this week. Some will break your bank account (sorry beauties) but others are pretty affordable! Hope you like this week selection…

(Disclaimed- this post is not an ad sponsored and does not contain any affiliate links. All products were chosen by us and we didn’t try them, so we can’t give our opinion on the efficiency. These are products that we want to try out).

# Winky Lux Pucker Up Lip Plumpling Gloss – $16.00

We don’t have a lot of information’s about this product. It’s a plumping gloss that according to Nordstrom, enhances your lips with just one swipe, leaving the lips super shimmering with the smell of a delicious lemon cake. Normally, I don’t like lipsticks with scents but for lemon cake, I can make an exception.

# Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil – $25.00

‘Perfect Cleansing Oil’ is a cleansing oil that dissolves and washes away makeup and impurities from the skin’s surface. Perfect for all skin types and formulated with plant oils like Sunflower, Coconut, Meadow foam, Jojoba, and Grapeseed. It says that provides a healthy dose of hydration and antioxidants benefits with each use.

Normally, cleansing oils are perfect for dry skins because of its tender to increase the skin’s hydration and don’t leave it dry like others makeup removers do.

As you know, I have combo skin and every cleaning oil that I tried, leave me with my skin oilier but every day I see more and more cleansing oils formulated for oily/combo skins, so maybe it’s time to give this a try!

# Amorepacific ‘My 12 Days of Timeless Beauty Collection’ – $55.00

Next month is my birthday, and this year I will give myself an advent calendar, unfortunately, I still didn’t decide what. I saw this from Amorepacific and it looks really good. First, I don’t know the brand so it’s a good way to discover it and try 12 products! Second, I made a little search about this brand and discovered that it blends traditional Asian Beauty secrets with cutting edge technology to create powerful skin care and makeup. They use Green tea’s potent antioxidants into skin-renewing products (they were the first company doing that, so points to them)!

You can buy it at Nordstrom or on their official website, here.

# Biobelle Unicorn Glow Botanic Fiber Facial Mask – €4.70

If you are girlie and like pink and unicorns, then you’ll love the packaging of this collection mask. This one is an illuminating sheet mask, rich in antioxidants. ‘Unicorn Glow Botanic fiber facial mask’ is formulated with chocolate, honey, and mulberry.

# Disney X Kiehl’s since 1851 Collection for Cause Set – $45.00

This year Kiehl’s associated with Disney launched a beautiful holiday collection with Mickey’s mouse design in all packaging. They have set for almost everything. It’s worth to mention other two kits (I was torn between these two): Grapefruit body duo ($24.00) and the Purity&Protect duo ($27.00). Both are affordable and caught my eye. It’s a fun gift to your girlfriends but it’s also a good present for yourself.

Then I saw the Collection for Cause set and I knew I had to mention this. This special edition helps secure an estimated 350 meals for Feeding America. It’s beautiful to see causes like that, right?

For what I could see this set is very complete and it’s worth the price, it includes:

–          Calendula herbal- Extract Alcohol-Free Toner (4.2 oz.): formulated with select herbal extracts to gently cleanser and soothe the skin.

–          Calendula Deep Cleaning Foaming Face wash (2.5 oz.): activated with water, this forms a rich, dense foam that lefts away impurities, dirt and oil without stripping it of essential moisture.

–          Calendula & aloe Soothing Hydrating Masque (0,47 oz.): cools on contact, calming effect yet refreshing hydration.

# ColourPop Polite AF Super Shock Shadow Collection. $30.00

I saw this collection on Sephora’s website and for what I saw, it’s an exclusive. It consists on six ColourPop’s famous long-wearing cream-powder super shock shadows. These shadows are known for being super-creamy, insanely pigmented and with zero fallout. It looks like a dream, right?

I don’t have any ColoupPop product and this seems a great way to have contact with this brand!

#Glamglow GravityMud Firming Treatment Power Rangers Goldar/Rita Repulsa – $29.00

If you follow our blog, then you know that we love Glamglow masks. I a few weeks ago I tried the normal GravityMud (the silver) and I love that! So, it’s normal that I want to try these two!

For what I could see Goldar and Rita Repulsa are equal, the only difference is the color: one is gold and the other green. Both are for the same skin’s type (Normal, Oily, Combination and Dry). Both are used for the same problems (fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and loss of firmness and elasticity).

My name is Rita so it makes sense that I want to try Rita Repulsa! And you?
