Here we are for another monday mask. While you are reading this I’m in Cuba on a well-deserved vacation. I’m really excited, while writing this post.
Like everyone, I like to have my skin on point on vacation because it’s a beach trip and that evolves a lot of no makeup days but also a lot of photos.
To prepare my skin for this trip I used the Dr. Jart Dermask Micro Jet Clearing Solution.
I chose this mask because this is a sheet mask that promises to help fight breakouts, reduce the appearance of scars and reduce uneven skin tone. Sounds good right?!
This is also a mask indicated for all skin types, from oily to the dry skin, without forgetting the sensitive one.
It doesn’t have:
• Artificial fragrance
• Artificial color
• Denatured alcohol
• Sulfate-based surfactants
• Mineral oil
• Propylene glycol
All this cause skin irritation.
• Glutathione: An antioxidant to even out the skin tone and reduces the appearance of the hyperpigmentation, brightening the skin.
• Salicylic acid
• Tea tree: Absorb the excess of oil.
• Niacinamide: brightening the complexion
1. Remove the film
2. Apply the mask over the cleansed face for 20 minutes
3. Don´t rise your face
4. Massage the remaining serum into skin
5. Apply moisturizer
Well, this was an impulse purchase. I had heard good things about this brand so I was really curious.
The package is really nice, with a professional appearance and everything is well explained.
I only used one mask, and the feeling while I had it on my face was normal, not fresh or hot, just a ‘viscous’ feeling. After I took it off, I felt an instant hot in the face, that was a little uncomfortable. After putting the moisturizer, it passed.
I can’t say that this is not a good mask but I didn’t feel or saw results. Maybe because normally I don’t have a drop of oil on my face, so I coudn’t see a difference on that part.
Sometimes I have my skin with a little of uneven skin tone or a little dull. but sometimes we need to use more than one package to see a big difference in these departments.
I recommend this mask especially for oily/combination skins, even it saying that is for all skin types. I will advice this mask to Rita, because she has combination skin and probably she can say more about if this can reduce the shine or not.
For sensitive skin, I think this is not the best, because the hot feeling that this leaves can bother that kind of skin.
What do you think of this type of masks?
