[ÍUNIK] Tea Tree Relief Serum | Effective ingredients & Simplifying skin care

Hello Beauties

Today I bring you my thoughts on the Íunik’s Tea tree Relief Serum. A few months ago, we were contacted by Iunik to try a few of their products. While Joana decided for a Serum for her type of skin, I decided by this one.

ÍUNIK is a Korean brand that uses ingredients derivated from nature, their philosophy is simplicity and they believe in a minimalist but effective skin care routine.

‘Your skin knows natural ingredients first.’ (ÍUNIK)

I like the fact that they have a simple and clean design in all of their packages, allowing reasonable prices but with generous capacity (50mL/ 1.71 Fl.oz.).

If you check the ingredients of this serum, you can definitely see that they believe in natural ingredients. I will leave the ingredients list in the end if you have curiosity, but the two more important are the Tea tree leaf water 67% and the Centella Asiatica water 19.5%.

The Tea Tree Relief Serum is indicated for sensitive skin and it acts as a:

  • Powerful Relief
  • Natural Moisturizing
  • Soothing Care
  • Whitening & Wrinkle Care

One thing that I noticed and I don’t like is the fact that the package only brings the name, directions and the list of the ingredients in English. There’s a lot of more words in the box but I don’t understand the language.

I like the simple package and the glass bottle is really beautiful and heavy, which I always like in my skincare products. I also like the dropper- it’s effective and the quality is really good (who likes a loose dropper??).

Now, about the product. I’ve been using it every day for more than a month and by now I already know what to think about it. When it comes to skincare products I think that we should use it for some time before taking final opinions.

I normally use it just one time a day (I prefer at night, right after the skin cleaning routine and after the night cream). Three drops are enough for my skin and normally I apply more two for my neck and decolleté. The consistency is perfect for a sérum and the skin absorbs it quickly.

In the beginning, I was applying way too much and after a couple of hours, I felt my skin oilier. Then I decreased the number of drops and that worked, I don’t feel my skin oiler (at least not so much). It doesn’t have any scent, which is great if you are sensitive to smells.

Do I feel my skin more oily controlled? No. I think this will do nothing to control or balance the oil. But I do feel my skin a lot more moisturized and I can say that this serum is absolutely great to use if you have sensitive skin and need some sort of soothing product.

I like to use it after a stronger exfoliation or some type of stronger skin treatment, even after sun. I believe that someone with rosacea will beneficiate with this type of product. I really feel my skin soothed after using it.

I also noticed an improvement in my blemishes, I don’t have a lot, but at that time of the month, when I use it, I do see a difference. No, it didn’t took the pimples away, but they looked a lot less inflamed.

About the anti-wrinkle effect, I can’t say a lot because fortunately, that’s not my main problem, but maybe with more time of use, I can see some difference in my fine lines of expression.

After checking their products more detailed, I think that I should choose the Rose Galactomyces Synergy Serum– it’s indicated for oily skin because of its oil-water balance.

The Tea Tree Relief Serum costs $19.99 and you can buy it here.
