Today was a good day for pampering my skin!

I went to the gym to do a RPM class, then I did a full body exfoliation, and finally, I ended it with a facemask.

With all the party dinners that I’ve been having this month of December, I feel that my skin needs to be in perfect condition, so I decided to use the Darphin Lumiere Essentielle Radiance & Hydration.

I love the Lumière Essentielle line, I used the serum from this line for some time, as you can see here. And I really liked the serum, so much that I decided to try the mask.

The first phase is made with 89% of natural ingredients while the second has 91%. Some of the principal ingredients are clay, seaweed extract, a blend of 7 essential oils like neroli, roses, and Ylang Ylang, hyaluronic acid, and ginger with cedarwood. This mask is also made with non-comedogenic ingredientes and it’s paraben free.

Mode of use

The first phase has a white creamy texture that it’s intended to apply on a dry and clean skin. Then you just need to wait 5 minutes and rinse with water.

This phase is the one that has the purifying properties, you will feel it a little dry but not enough that you feel discomfort.

After you rinse the first part of the mask, you apply the second part of the ritual. This second step has a peachy gel texture that when applied in the face it´s transparent. It says to wait for 5 minutes and then massage the excess. 

In my case, I didn’t have anything to massage because it was all absorbed.

Final Thoughts…

I love Darphin’s products. I already know this brand for so many years and I really trust their products. The Lumiere line is to me, the best line from Darphin so, I was super excited to try this mask. The scent was divine, really soft on both phases, and was all super easy to use, nothing too complicated.

The result was a radiance that you can see after the first use, and a really clean sensation that stays on the skin.

This is a perfect mask to do before an event or in the after to make sure the skin is cleaned of all the heavy makeup that we use. For exemple, before the Christmas party or even for some other important dinner and of course, if you just want to pamper your skin for no reason!
