A few months ago, I talked about the Too Faced Peaches & Cream collection (if you don’t remember, check it here) that arrived at Portugal in the Summer.
By now, I have almost the entire collection in my vanity, except the foundation (which I don’t like)!
Today I will talk about the Sweetie Pie: radiant matte bronzer – one of my last purchases! I never thought about this product and for everything that I read and saw, I never thought I would like it so much. But by now I probably should have learned that I can’t assume things without first experiencing them. And that was what happened to me…
‘Features four blendable shades to define, highlight, and sculpt for a radiant complexion and soft, flawless look that smells as good as it looks. Infused with peach and sweat fig milk’.Too Faced
The packaging is adorable, c’mon it looks like a pie! How cute is that? The compact is easy to open and it brings a generous mirror, which is a plus.
The Peaches & Cream Collection was announced as a comfortable matte collection and according to Too Faced, the Sweetie Pie Radiant matte bronzer is a radiance-boosting bronze with a matte finish. Hmmm, a little contradicting, right?
But after a few uses, you will notice that the bronzer looks shimmery but it’s, in fact, an overspray, the bronzer bellow has a matte finish.
This bronzer is really easy to apply and blend. Don’t be afraid of this formula. In recent years, these type of products became more and more, easier to blend.
The Sweetie Pie is priced as $30 and it brings 0.47 oz.
Overall the bronze shades dominate the niny peach shade, so this is a bronzer that has a little bit of a peach color but nothing too much!
I think that this is more a cooler bronzer than a warmer bronzer and every time I use this product I like the result.
If you want a bronzer to contour, this is not for you, because it has a sheer finish.
Because of its finish, my advice is to not apply to many layers (it’s tempting, I know) but it can look overly done! Surprisingly, I didn’t notice any accentuation on the pores. This product is more pigmented that, it looks.
I normally like to use this as a blush, pushing it on the top of the bronzer that I used as the contour. But only on the cheeks!
The scent is divine. Some people probably don’t like makeup with scent, but I don’t mind at all. This has a peachy scent that is really pleasant.
If you don’t like sheerer bronzers then don’t run to buy this product, but if you like a little glow, like a healthy look then go to a Sephora and try this product. I think will like it!
