A few months ago, I saw a youtube video where a beauty youtube showed how much it cost the makeup that she used on that day. I really liked it, because 1) I’m a simple person, I see makeup, I click on it 2) sometimes we can’t really see how much we can spend on makeup…
I decided to do something like that and if you like it, we can do it again, but using more affordable products (or dupes). What do you think?
But for now, let’s see what I use on a daily basis… Let’s get the calculator ready and see how much do I actually spend on day with makeup.
This is something that I don’t use everyday because most of the time I use some skincare products as primers. I have quite a collection of primers but the one that I use the most is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Retouch Primer.
I chose the foundation that I’ve been using more and that’s the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear.
It depends on the day but there’s one that I reach almost everyday and that’s the Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer.
I have a lot of powders but my favorite (and the one that I use almost everyday) is the Too Faced Peache Perfect Loose Powder.
I use two but in my defense, I normally use the Sweet Pie as a blush. They are the Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer and the Too Faced Sweet Pie Radiant Matte Bronzer.
I pick the Huda Beauty New Nude palette because it has a lot of eyeshadows that can be used for a subtle look but in the end of the day if I want to go out, I can apply a darker color and a shimmer and that’s it. It’s probably the most expensive palette that I own but it’s very versatile.
Lately, I’m using and loving the Kat Von D Tatoo liner, it’s easy to apply, precise and it lasts forever.
Clarins Supra Volume Mascara. It cots a little but it’s worthy.
SETTING SPRAY (14,90€/$15)
Urban Decay De-Slick. I have the travel size and it does is job very well.
Final value = 342,8€ / $335
Am I surprised? A little bit. I was expecting a big value but not so big, the worst is that I have so much more makeup, this is nothing and if I did the math on all of my makeup, I don’t know how my heart would endure.
