Last year I tried two Lanolips products (here) and I’m still in love with this brand! Why? Their lip treatments are the best if you have dry or chapped lips and I can see results after just one use.
I have really dry lips since I know myself and I always struggled to find the perfect product that could help me fight that. I normally use a lip mask two/three times a week at night and since I do that I see differences but it’s not enough. And that is where the Lanolips treatment came.
I’m not going to talk again about the other two products that I use since last year but I can tell you that I’m still using the 101 Ointment MultiPurpose balm on my lips, hands and lately I’ve been using it on my dry feets and let me tell you that this is the only product that considerably improved the appearance of my dry feet.
But today we are going to talk about another product: the Lemonaid Lip Treatment.
This product caught my eye a few months ago because I tried it on my hand at Sephora and fell in love with the shimmer, but I only bought it last month.
As always, Lanolips products are made with no artificial colors, fragrances, parabens, petrolatum, PEG’s, mineral oils and sulfates. This one is produced with 99% natural ingredients and 1% of shimmer.
Yes, the lemonaid lip treatment has a little bit of shimmer and that’s the sparkle of this product (no pun intended).
‘ A rich & creamy whipped lanolin lip treatment with lemon oil to naturally exfoliate, leaving lips fresh, soft & moist.’
Lanolips has won over 50 awards and I love how natural their products are, the fact that they use pure lanolin and natural lemon oil blend is a big plus and you can see/feel that when you use them.
If you don’t know, lanolin is a wax that comes from wool-bearing animals, it’s also called wool wax or wool grease. It has a lot of uses on humans and it’s great for dry areas.
I’ve been using the Lemonaid Treatment for a month, every morning, sometimes just as a lip gloss and other times I use it just before applying the actual lipstick.
I notice a big difference, my rough lips are not rough anymore. The lipsticks slide/look better, much easier to apply and they last more time on my lips.
I have to say that my favorite way to use this product is alone as a lip gloss, it looks really good (spoiler: lasts forever). Since we are talking about longevity, the Lanolips products last a lot but a lot of time, a little goes a long way.
The best? It also exfoliates the lips, smells like lemons (the scent lasts a lot of time!!) and it’s not too expensive ($12). Do you want more?
