benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer NEW!

Hello beauties,

Last year I showed you my benefit cosmetics concealers collection and if you remember I liked some of them more than others but none is on my favorite list of products.

I spend so much money on those concealers beliving that I could found one that I loved but honestly I almost never use them (only when I look at them and remember how much they costed me and that I have to make the money worth). I made a promise to myself: never again buy another benefit concealer.

How much time did I live with my promisse? The time benefit took to launch a new concealer because I just bought the Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer!

In my defense the sephora seller lady really selled me the product, she showed me how the product covered a birth mark on her hand and I was amazed. At this time, I to thought that I was smarter and made a good deal: I bought the travel size (how lucky I was to my color be available?) and on that day all benefit products were in promotion (less 15%).

But what are these concealers? According to the information on the packaging and website…

‘This multitasking FULL COVERAGE liquid concealer hides it all, from dark undereye circles to blemishes & discoloration.…yet it feels lightweight & doesn’t cake or crack. The Cushion Tip creates a smoother than smooth application and blends seamlessly for longwearing, waterproof coverage’.

  • 24-hour longwear

  • 94% said it doesn’t look cakey
  • 95% said it conceals dark undereye circles

This product is available in 12 colors and I bought the number 5. It’s a little more yellow than I normally like but I’m still in my summer tan, making this the perfect tone for me right now. For winter I’m probably a number 3 or 4.

I’m pretty pale so this shows how big the range color is for people with pale skin.

The Sephora seller applied this concealer with a brush and I didn’t like it. To me, this concealer is better applied with a beautyblender.

It tends to crease a big time if you use too much product or if you don’t set it with pow≤der, and that’s normal with concealers with high coverage. I tried it with two different powders and I liked it with both (Too Faced Peach Powder and Marc Jacobs Coconut Powder).

I noticed that if I set it with powder it creases a lot less but there’s not concealer that doesn’t crease in this skin, so overall I think this is one of the least that creases.

Comparing this concealer with for example the ‘new’ Fenty Beauty concealer, I think this one is much much better for people with dry under eyes (less cakey and it doen’t acumulate on the fine lines like Fenty’s)

Now let’s talk about coverage! It’s huge! I have really dark under eyes that are really difficult to hide but this concealer really does a good job and I don’t need to use half of the packaging to see reasults!

Since I’m talking about packaging, this one is cute, nothing like out of the normal but like all benefit products: girlie and pretty.

The doe-foot applicator is smaller that the tarte concealer applicator but I like it. It has the right size. I don’t like the fact that it moves so much, I understand that the movement can help when you wan to apply it at the corner of the eyes for a more precise application, but I’m always afraid it breaks.

The trave size is great if you want to try it (it brings a considerable amount of product to a travel size product) at a good price, if you need to add two different tones to find your perfect color, and also if you want a small package to travel.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this purchase and I can’t believe that I’m saying this after so many dissapointments but right now this concealer is one of my favorites!
