Hello beauties,
By now you probably noticed that I have a little obsession with pore strips. I love to try new ones and see which one is better. Since I tried the Sephora collection Charcoal Pore strip (here) it’s been a little difficult to find a better replacement. But today, I bring you the Caolin Pore Nose Strip and we will see if this can de-throne my favorites pore stripes.
These patches are recommended:
- to puryfie and clean the pores;
- to remove blackheads;
- to reduce oiliness.
First, the packaging of the Caolion Pore Stripes is very simple but it definitly call our attention, it’s almost all blue with a big black eagle (the animal is taking the blackheads yeah yeah). Then the pore strip itself has the shape of an eagle beak. It’s good because it can reach the whole nose, including that front between the nostrils that not all pore strips can reach.
Each package bring three patches and it costs 3.90€ while the Sephora Collection Charcoal Nose Patches cost 5.90€.
How you should use it
- Remove transparent film with dry hands
- Apply strip to wet nose
- Leave on for 10 minutes. Once the strip is fully dried, peel-off gently starting from one corner.
It’s important to apply this kind of strip always on a wet nose, always remember this!
I like the fact that I don’t feel any scent in these strips, which can be a turn-off when we have to stay with it for 10 minutes on the nose, so it’s important that there’s no scent or it should be pleasant.
In the begining the strip adhere very nicely to the nose and it don’t hurt at all when we peel it off. I almost forgot that I have a patch on the nose during the 10 minutes.
Now, what’s really important, the efficacy. They are not the best nose strips that I tried. They are not the worst.
When removed, I can see that they took some blackheads but not all. They have a big con, I don’t know if this only happened with me, but when I peel-off the strip, half of the layer that sticks to the nose stays on the nose. I have to take it off with water and soap. That happened with all the three patches. I used two on me and one on my nephew.
Will I buy these again? Only when the Sephora Collection Charcoal strips are unavailable. Do you know when you’re really in trouble and don’t have something, then you have to use the second-best to unscrew? Well, that’s what I feel about this.
