Today we bring you the review of the Pixi Glow Mist.
For total transparency, we received this product in a PR package that was the celebration of the 20 years of Pixi, but they didn’t ask us to review or do anything.
After trying for a month, I thought that this product deserves to be reviewed and that is exactly what we are doing here in this post.
The composition of this mist is something that we need to talk about. It doesn’t have parabens, it’s alcohol-free, cruelty-free and vegan. The main ingredients are:
- Propolis extract, that has anti-oxidant properties;
- Rose flower oil, to hydrate and smooth the skin;
- 13 natural oils, like Lavander, to also calm and smooth the skin.
It says it’s suitable for all skin types, I cannot talk for everyone but looking to the ingredients, it really seems that is a perfect mist for everyone. Maybe if you have really sensitive skin, the natural oil can make you breakout but that is something that you need to try and see how your skin reacts. In my skin, that is normal to the dry side, it functions perfectly.
This mist has a really beautiful finish, perfect to achieve luminous and dewy looks, but it also set the makeup all day long.
It can be applied AM or PM, after or before makeup in the quantity that you wish, depending on how much dewy you want your look. PM, before your night skincare and after cleaning the skin, to hydrate and smooth the skin.
It also has a bonus, you can use it in the hair to give that healthy glow.
Pixi is a brand that I love, and when I saw the name Glow on this product I immediately wanted to try it. The Glow Tonic is my number one tonic, so everything that comes from this family has to be as good as that one.
The Glow mist didn’t disappoint me, the scent is like roses and I really enjoy it. Maybe is not the cup of tea for everyone, because it’s strong but I like it.
It also has the perfect mist. Honestly is the most delicate mist that I tried. Making the application smooth and pleasent.
When it comes to natural oils, it becames controversial, some people say they are good others say that they aren’t and that you break out with them. I can’t say anything bad about natural oils, my skin never break out with oils or had any allergy to it. But if that happens in the future I will update you.
The bottle is transparent, which for me is a bonus, I can see the quantity of product that I still have, and when I need to start thinking about of buying another one.
It has 80mL/ 2.70fl Oz and cost £16.00. For a drugstore product, it is not the cheapest mist, but for the quality, I think it has a reasonable price. If you want to give it a chance, you can buy visit Pixi’s website clicking here.
I have one question for you, do you think this product belogs to the makeup or skincare categorie? Hope you liked this review, don’t forget to tell us what you want to see more? Tell us in the comments below.
