August Empties: Worth to buy again?

Hello beauties,

Another month zooms by and if you ask me, I truly don’t know where it even went. August was a difficult month to me, I only got the weekends to truly work on the blog and to get everything done. Beauty brands are already pushing us toward autumn with their warm color launches. There are a few exciting makeup launches that I want to have time to dig in. While makeup is heading toward autumn, skincare and haircare for me is still very much summer. My combination/oily skin has never been so oily, the warm weather is not helping it, but luckily, I have some products that I know that never disappoint! Hair Care is all about healthy, bouncy hair and I’ve found some products that really work with my dry, difficult hair!

1.Coco & Eve Sweet Repair Hair Mask – This mask is truly unique! Sweet, rich and amazing! I never felt my hair so soft and healthy. I already talked about it here but I can’t shut my mouth about it. I have really thick and dry hair and it’s difficult to find products that condition my hair from the inside, like this hair mask does. I actually finished my first bottle of this formula at the beginning of the month and I can’t wait to open up a new bottle. This formula contains biomimetic ceramides, hyaluronic acid and vegan keratin. Fully packed with antioxidants, amino acids and nutrients, from banana, avocado, guava, rambutan and coconut, the formula is very hydrating. You can get some pretty discounts (up to 50% on best sellers) by clicking here*

Worth to buy again? Definitely buy again.

2.La Roche Posay Effaclair Duo (+) – Another product that I talked about here. This cream is my life saving. Really. It controls oils and breakouts like no other. I know I can count on it. Rich in Niacinamide and Procerad, this cream is what you need if you have breakouts! It also hydrates the skin leaving it with zero shine but looking healthy. I’ve been using this cream for years and I can’t recommend it enough.

Worth to buy again? Buy again the entire stock!

3.Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Wash – This face wash smells so good. It smells rich. The texture is a gel cream that glides on with a balmy feeling. The facial wash instantly hydrates and it doesn’t strip the skin of the good oils. I never feel my skin dry after using this facial wash! This formula feels nourishing without making the skin feel greasy. It just feels very fresh and hydrating. It’s a great first step of any skincare routine if you have combo/normal skin and want to start treating the first signs of aging.

Worth to buy again? Pass it on, right now my main concern in my oily skin, and for that I prefer other cleansing products. But I will buy it again in winter when my skin is more dry.

4.Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub – This hair Exfoliator smells absolutely incredible! It has such a sexy scent, I love it. The texture is something I never thought I would like to use on my dry hair. It contains particles of sea salt which exfoliates the hair scalp in a gentle but effective way. It also Removes impurities, helps in the balance of the scalp and the grains stimulate microcirculation in the scalp, strengthening it. It’s also suited for colored and sensitive hair.

5.Sephora Collection Eye cream – I received this sample last month and I just finished it at the end of this month. The gel texture is refreshing and you immediately feel the skin smooth and hydrated. It works wonderfully overnight and as I was using it, I noticed that the dark circles are less prominent. The formula contains Hyaluronic acid, known for its hydrating properties.

Worth to buy again? Pass it on. I have a big collection of eye creams and although I like this one, I have more powerful ones.

6.Bali Body Gradient Tan – I finished my first bottle of this cream at the beginning of the month. This product hydrates, provides a rich tan shade and helps maintain the tan you already have. It’s a 3 in 1. I love the fact that it doesn’t smell like a tanning product, it really hydrates the skin and you can build the color you want by using more or less product. It’s easy to use, mess free and it works. I like to use it before going to bed, it doesn’t make any mess on the bed or with white clothes and the formula is amazing. One of my favorites, for sure!

7.Philip Kingsley Elastic Styler 5-in-1 treatment – The formula of this hair cream promises more hair control, less frizz and more shine. I have a love/hate relationship with this product. I read such good things about it and I wanted to love it, but I can’t. I don’t know if I’m applying it wrong or if it is just not for my hair type. I use it on damp hair and then proceed to dry the hair. I feel that the hair looks and feels thicker and so wild. I don’t have any control on my hair with this product. On the other hand I tried it on dry hair and it works better than way, it smells good and helps style the hair a little bit. The only good thing about it is that it’s not heavy!

Worth to buy again? Pass it on.

8.Rituals Ritual of Karma/Ritual of Jing Foaming Shower gel – I’m addicted to the scent of these shower gels. They are amazing and everything I love in just one bottle. The formula promises to clean and hydrate the skin and I agree. I really feel my skin smooth, glowing and hydrated after using these formulas. Imagine a shave foam, this shower gel formula is very similar. Great to use if you like to use a razor to take your hair because the formula looks exactly like a shave foam. A little goes a long way, so a bottle will last a lot of time. My favorite is the Ritual of Karma, I have the body cream from this collection and it’s one of my favorite body creams of all time.

9.Yves Rocher Body Exfoliator – I really like this body Exfoliator. Enriched with apricot kernel powder, it Eliminates dead cells, thins the grain of the skin leaving it smooth, uniform and very smooth. A package of these and for two months, this one is right at the end and I believe it will still end this week. This exfoliant can be used even on the most sensitive skin. I really like to use it the day before using a self tanner .

Worth to buy again? Buy again.

10.Clarins Cleansing Oil – I talked about this cleansing oil here. It’s one of my favorite products to remove the makeup on my face. It’s so gentle in the eyes and does the job beautifully. The bottle still has a little bit of product but I know I will end it in a week. I have this product for months, a little goes a long way so is worth every euro it costs.

Worth to buy again? Pass it on. I have other cleansing balms to try but this one is definitely on the list to buy later.
