I am aware that Haus Labs has been available in certain parts of the world for some time, but its recent arrival in Portugal has sparked a lot of excitement and discussion.

As a member of the Beautyworkers team and a passionate beauty enthusiast, I was eager to experience the “Lady Gaga brand”.

Haus Lab Triclone Skin Tech Medium Foundation

I went to a Sephora and asked the salesperson to help me find my matching color foundation. Honestly, it wasn’t easy, because the range is wide, 51 shades, and also we need to pay attention to the undertone. While I was there, I realized that finding the right foundation shade can be quite a daunting task, considering the wide array of options available and the need to consider undertones. It’s not just about finding the right color, but also ensuring that it complements the undertone of your skin. This process can definitely be time-consuming, but once you find the perfect match, it can make a world of difference in your makeup routine. With 51 shades to choose from, it’s clear that Haus Beauty offers a comprehensive range, catering to diverse skin tones and preferences.

My matching color, after some try, is 130 Light Warm.

What it claims?

The Haus Lab Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation is as the name indicates a medium coverage, light texture, and easy-to-blend foundation.

It’s not just a foundation but also skincare. It contains arnica, known for helping reduce redness and, even the skin tone.

The patent arnica complex also protects the skin against the exterior environment and free radicals.

The website says that is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, and acne-prone skin.

How to use and My Opinion

After completing my skincare routine, apply just one or two pumps of the product. In my experience, a single pump is sufficient, especially for a skin that doesn’t have a lot of imperfections, like mine. I prefer using a normal pencil to apply the product, and if there is any excess, I easily blend it out with my Beauty Blender.

When applying this product, you’ll immediately notice it’s lightweight texture, making it easy to blend and apply. I am thrilled with the glow and tone it provides, perfectly matching my foundation. Just like Rita mentioned, it’s truly my perfect summer shade!

I took several pictures to show you how this foundation worked on my skin. As a disclaimer, my skin is normal, not oily at all. 

After four hours, the foundation was well, and I didn’t have anything to say about it. 

I had an amazing day, with lot of activities, and need to say, that I was never in a dry environment, and it was a warm day. 

After twelve hours or more it was time to remove the makeup. After a closer look, I could see that the foundation was gone in some parts of the face, such as my nose, but that is normal because we are used to touch our face with our hands, napkins, etc. but I also could see some dry spots on the face, as I think you can see in the picture.

With COVID, I lost the costume to use foundation. Nowadays I just wear concealer, blush, and mascara. But because it’s a new foundation, and it was Mother´s Day in Portugal, I made an exception. 

On the day after using it, my skin was drier than normal, I even took a picture to show you. I really think it was the foundation. I even discussed with Rita, what could go wrong. But I wasn’t in a dry or cold environment, the skincare that I did before was a serum and a cream to give hydration to the skin, that is my normal day skincare, so I’m not sure.

I’m going to use it again in summer, but now I’m going to use a moisturizing primer before, just to be sure that it wasn’t the foundation that dried my skin. I read some opinions, that it was making oily skin oilier, but in my case, it was the opposite.

Haus Lab Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating + De Puffing Concealer

While Joana tried the foundation, I (Rita) tried the Triclone Skin Tech Hydrating + De Puffing Concealer. My shade was really easy to find; I’m shade 12 – light rosy – a light with pink or red undertones. I love pink undertones for my under eyes because I have dark circles, and I find that pink undertones work better to camouflage my undertones than beige or yellow tones.

This shade really matches my skin and looking at my photos, I realize that if I didn’t know, I would say that I’m not using anything.

What it claims?

It visibly blurs fine lines, brightens, de-puffs under eyes after 2 weeks of use, conceals redness and hyperpigmentation and leaves skin looking fresh and hydrated.

There’s 31 shades to meet your concealing needs. Non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types including acneic, mature, dry or oily skin and available in 31 shades across 6 shade families and 4 undertones.

It contains:

My opinion

I like it. I really do. It’s easy to blend and I forgot I was using it. That’s something that I like in makeup. Other thing that I like is that I felt my underwear area hydrated and overall it camouflaged my dark under eyes. I have really dark under eyes and it’s difficult to cover everything up. But I’m happy with this concealer.

I went to a Sephora and the saleswoman applied it to me, she used a brush that I would not use if I was applying it at home. It was not the best to cover the dark under eyes, and if it was me, I would use a little more product here and there, just to be sure that everything was cover up. But I had a good idea of how it works.

Now the question is, would I buy it? And the answer is yes. I’m definitely going to buy it. I didn’t by now because I have two other concealers at home that I want to finish, and I know that the moment I buy this one, I will forget about the other two.
