Last week, we enjoyed a national holiday, giving us the opportunity to spend a day at home. To our surprise, we received a last-minute “invitation” for an afternoon event – the grand opening of a new Karl Lagerfeld store in a well-known Portuguese mall.

The truth is, we cannot consider this as a new opening, as the store previously existed in the mall but has now relocated to a larger space, making it the largest Karl Lagerfeld store in Portugal. The celebration featured a DJ, drinks, and a 20% discount promotion on all items in the store.

We were determined to go (Joana more than me), and I must say it turned into quite an adventure. It being a holiday, everyone had decided to head to the mall for the day. Finding a parking spot was a real challenge; they had even shut down the underground parking as it was completely full! However, we managed to make it, and it turned out to be an absolute blast!

I (Rita) am a huge fan of Karl Lagerfeld and I have some favorite pieces from this brand in my wardrobe. However, that day I left my house with a clear intention in mind: “You don’t need anything, don’t even think about it.” And I resisted! On the other hand, Joana fell in love with a pair of sandals and she simply couldn’t leave without them. The best part is that they are comfortable and look amazing with almost every outfit we could think of at the time.
